Ricky Ayala, better known to his fans as Little Ricky, is a 13-year-old singing sensation. Many have compared his singing style to the early years of Michael Jackson and his range to that of Celine Dion. In September 2005, Ricky recorded his first CD (“Just Kiddin Around”) at the renowned Cue Recording Studio. This compilation of his favorite cover songs included Michael Jackson’s “I Want You Back”, Alan Jackson’s “Remember When”, Etta James “At Last”, and Celine Dion’s “My Heart Will Go On”.
Little Ricky was a first place winner at Musician Minds Magazine Rising Stars Showcase in November 2005 and took home a first place vocalist award at the National TalentRock competition where he blew away the judges and surpassed hundreds of competitors in May 2005. Ricky also won first place in the 18 year and younger category of the Chicago area “Sing From The Heart” talent contest in May 2004. In November of 2005, Little Ricky was back in the recording studio working on his original music which includes tracks produced by PI Productions, producers on Super Star Nelly’s new album, Sweat Suit.
Ricky has been singing since the age of 2 years old. He is a natural performer and an unstoppable talent with a passion for music. Being in a military family has brought Ricky a great deal of traveling and opportunity to make many new friends. He has lived in South Dakota, Washington, Illinois, and now Virginia. He has family, fans, and friends throughout the country. His father recently retired as a Master Chief after serving 22 years in the Navy and the family will remain in Virginia. Ricky attends Rodney Thompson Middle School and plays football for the Fredericksburg American Youth Football League Dolphins. He also enjoys playing basketball, camping, fishing, and hanging out with his little brother Patrick.
